About Us

Eye2Eye is a student-run nonprofit service organization focused on the furthering of equality amongst all genders in the workplace and educational institutions. Eye2Eye was founded by students in Alpha Kappa Psi (Nu Chapter) at Boston University in 2016. The founders’ own experiences of workplace and collegiate discrimination shaped their drive to end gender inequality. They encountered gender bias across a multitude of industries, as well as within the business school at Boston University. These experiences, coupled with eye-opening research conducted by organizations like the ITUC, are what pushed the team to create Eye2Eye. Eye2Eye hopes to lessen the gender pay gap and end gender discrimination against all genders in the workplace and in schools not only across the nation but throughout the world.

In order to pursue equal footing for all genders, Eye2Eye focuses on two primary goals:

RAISING AWARENESS OF THE CONFIDENCE GAP THROUGH OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE

SHOWCASING OUR RESEARCH REGARDING GENDER INEQUALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

The research and the undeniable evidence of gender inequality continues to mount relentlessly. We can no longer watch as certain genders get paid less, looked over, underestimated, and sexually harassed in their place of work or education. Eye2Eye is fully committed to collecting research and raising awareness in a multitude of industries, as well as holding our annual conference to combat this epidemic. We aim to develop informational and unique research that will aid us in expanding to other universities so that we may lead the collegiate gender inequality research platform throughout the United States.
